Special Event 1: Indy 250

Hi all, we've planned out a special event to get everyone back into the swing of things before the main season. We'll probably end up doing a special event (won't always be Indycar) in between every season.

What's been decided so far based on previous experience, is a 100 lap race, with only 10% damage, as 50% damage had a negative impact on the race last time.

Other than that, all that's left to be decided is the mod, then which team you want. The mod we use will either be CART 1994 (http://rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=1995%20CART%20Season) or Indycar 2009 (http://rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=IndyCar%20Series%202009) as used last time.

As usual, setups will be fixed. Voting ends Friday. After that we'll then pick teams.

The race will be Monday night, usual time. So the server will be open for practice at 7pm GMT. Qualifying (private so no slipstreams) at 7:45pm. Warm-up at 7:55pm to allow for any disconnections or late-comers. Race at 8pm.

Please bear in mind that due to caution periods, this could last for up to two hours, which is why we have decreased the race distance from last time we did this.

Nope we used Indycar 2009 back then.

Oh and I'm using the #5 Dick Simon car.
